There are multiple provisions buried in the 1,684-page monstrosity of a bill for funding the destruction of the innocent unborn: It overrides state laws and mandates abortion funds for the Medicaid coverage gap population in "non-expansion" states through Obamacare exchange plans in 2024 and 2025... It subsidizes cost-sharing and reinsurance for individual market health coverage without restricting the funding of abortions or plans that cover abortions – to the tune of $30 billion... It includes a huge expansion of taxpayer funds for Obamacare exchange plans that cover abortions... And it directs more than $18 billion in "health-related grants" – without any limits on funding abortions. Fellow American this is an end-run around the Hyde Amendment – which bans public funding for abortion.
