When we join together our pursuit of justice is unstoppable, our communities are stronger and everyone is uplifted.
Just over a month ago, Kenyan asked me to chair his campaign for D.C. Attorney General. It is my honor to stand beside a leader whose story, experience and vision are an inspiration. Kenyan is the right person to be our next Attorney General.
I am a physician with experience in government, academia and activism. Kenyan understands the need to address public safety and racial inequity through the lens of public health. He is a pioneer alongside those of us at the forefront of innovative thinking that will transform communities.
These are dynamic times. Moments in history like the ones we are experiencing today must not be wasted. We need leaders who will not blink. We need leaders who have experienced firsthand the challenges and injustices of growing up Black in under-served communities. We need Kenyan McDuffie. He is astute, compassionate and unyielding.
