A memo from People’s Party of Canada

National Headquarters

Leadership Review

I hope you have been well!

Since the election, PPC HQ has zeroed in on several projects to expand our movement and reach more Canadians who love and support freedom.

Before we move forward on these critical projects to get the Party ready for the next election, we want to confirm that after two elections, Maxime Bernier maintains the support of our members as Leader.

As such, I am excited to announce that we will be conducting a Leadership Review.

Maxime Bernier wants to hear from YOU and let him know if you think he has been an effective Leader.

If you had a valid PPC membership on September 20, 2021 (the day of the recent federal election), you will receive an invitation on November 12, 2021, to vote on Maxime's leadership.

We made the decision to use the election day as the cut-off date because we want to hear from true PPC supporters, not outside groups looking to hijack the Party.

Eligible members will receive login credentials by email or traditional mail to vote on ppc.simplyvoting.com. The Leadership Review will be an online vote conducted by an authorized third-party firm, SimplyVoting.

The question you will answer is simple: Do you support Maxime Bernier remaining as Leader of the People’s Party of Canada? You will be able to answer Yes or No.

Login credentials and information will come from [email protected]. We strongly encourage you to watch out for emails from this address and whitelist it, so nothing important ends up in your spam!

Voting will begin on Friday, November 12th, 2021, and conclude Friday December 3, 2021. Results will be announced shortly afterwards. Reminder emails will go out throughout the voting period to those who have not cast their ballots.

Stay tuned!

Cheers,

Daniel Tyrie

Executive Director,

People’s Party of Canada

A Word From Our Party Leader

Portage-Lisgar PPC EDA,

The media are full of apocalyptic news again.

30,000 politicians, bureaucrats and activists are meeting in Glasgow to supposedly save the planet and humanity from climate change.

Almost everything they say is based on lies.

Yes, the climate is changing as it always has.

But there are no more hurricanes or forest fires todaythan in past decades. The media just talk about them a lot more and try to scare you.

The number of people on the planet dying every year because of floods, droughts, wildfires, storms or extreme temperatures has actually gone down by 96% over the past century.

We’re much richer and better able to cope with these weather-related events.

But because of irresponsible green policies, people around the world are now facing energy shortages, massive electricity price increases, and blackouts.

We could see the same in Canada if Trudeau and his new radical environment minister, Steven Guilbeault, have their way.

They’re planning to gradually suffocate our oil and gas industry, and make us poorer with their rising carbon tax on everything.

The People’s Party is the only party left in Canada that hasn’t succumbed to climate alarmism.

Unlike Erin O’Toole, I won’t change my mind and suddenly propose a carbon tax.

I won’t support destroying our largest industry in Canada to please the UN.

Thanks a lot,
-Max

Note from the President:

Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that in honor and respect of Remembrance Day, there will not be the usual bi weekly board meeting happening this Thursday.

We will resume our board meetings next Thursday on November 18 at 7:30pm. So if you would like to join us (and we'd LOVE to have you as our guest) please contact the office to be included on the list for the Zoom link being sent out.

In general board news, we are still actively working on bringing together a self-sufficient board for the Brandon-Souris electoral district.

On another issue, we really value your input on what you'd like to hear from us whether in our newsletter or on social media.
