Political pundits are analyzing the election results from last week and criticizing Democrats for not turning out enough voters in seats we thought were safe.

Our party is in a fragile state right now, and the close numbers and losses from last week should be seen as a clear warning sign:

Far-right extremism was around long before Trump, and it certainly didn’t leave when he left office.

But we all know exactly how powerful their hate-fueled, fear-mongering can be when he’s the forerunner pulling the strings, which is exactly what he intends to do in 2022 by endorsing right-wing hacks and rallying the MAGA base in midterm elections across the country.

That’s exactly how Democrats lost Virginia last week. Donald Trump is laying the groundwork so that he can make his own comeback to the White House and have all of his minion pawns in place for his return to power.
