We did it, friend!

I need to be upfront with you — this is a long email, but I hope you’ll take the time to read it. This is truly a remarkable moment and I want us to understand what it all means. The Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal has officially passed the House and the Senate! Many will say this is a win for Democrats or President Biden, but I’m focused on the fact this is a win for us — the American people.

I am proud that my colleagues and I can deliver this once-in-a-generation legislation. It will power the green economy and modernize the country’s infrastructure. Here are a few of the priorities we are making critical investments in:

- Physical infrastructure: Too many of our roads are currently in poor condition and this package includes $100 billion in new funds for roads, bridges, and more!

- Public transportation: This bill includes the largest federal investment in public transportation in U.S. history. It will make getting around easier, cheaper, and greener.

- Good-paying, clean-energy jobs: All of these improvements will need skilled laborers to lead these projects. This deal is projected to create more than 700,000 jobs per year.

- Clean drinking water & no more lead pipes: As many as 10 million American households can’t count on access to clean, safe drinking water. This bill will eliminate the dangerous lead pipes nationwide.

- High-speed broadband: The pandemic highlighted how critical it is that everyone has access to secure, reliable internet at home. This legislation will deliver access to reliable high-speed internet to every home in America.

- Addressing the climate crisis: modernizing our nation’s infrastructure means getting it ready to meet the challenges of a changing climate as well as taking steps to reduce the future impact on our planet. This will be the largest investment in clean energy transmission in American history.

I can’t say it enough: this is the most significant effort to rebuild our country and modernize our economy in a generation, friend. We will emerge with a dramatically improved quality of life while leading the world in the fight against climate change.

I am incredibly proud of the work we have accomplished with your support, and I am grateful you give me the opportunity to serve you in Congress every single day. These transformative policies are a critical first step towards unlocking economic opportunity, strengthening the middle class, and a cleaner future — but our work is nowhere near finished.

Please donate $25 or whatever you can so we can keep this seat, hold the House, and keep getting things done for families across Georgia >>>[link removed]
