Yesterday, Charles made a historic announcement: the Kentucky New Deal.
Kentuckians helped build this country — and the deal was that for our service and our sacrifice, we would be fairly treated. We would be able to live full and gainful lives, feed our families, and have a pathway to prosperity.
But over the years, the promises of this deal have been gutted. Gutted by politicians like Rand Paul, corrupt leaders out for only themselves and their rich corporate friends. Our families and communities were left behind.
But enough is enough. Now, we’re rising up and claiming our power, united as one Commonwealth with the Kentucky New Deal. This time, the deal will be on OUR terms — and it’ll be the biggest investment in the people of Kentucky we’ve ever seen.
