Dear John,
Today, our campaign received official word from the D.C. Office of Campaign Finance that we qualified for the Fair Elections Program (FEP).
FEP certified 676 contributions from District residents totaling $61,707. That amount will be matched by FEP with $308,535 and an additional $20,000 in base funding.
As of today, our campaign is funded with over $405,000 cash-on-hand.
Kenyan responded to the great news:

Beginning now, we will use these resources to embark on a citywide conversation about justice, fairness, economic security and opportunity. It is vital that we hear from every District resident and fully understand their needs. The foundation of our campaign will be built by listening."
