Dear John,

It’s been a busy few weeks here in Lansing. On October 12, there was a Trump-endorsed ([link removed]) rally on the steps of the Capitol to once again question the veracity of the results from the 2020 Presidential Election and ask for a “forensic audit.”

Let’s get the facts straight: the results of Michigan's 2020 Election were confirmed by professional election officials who conducted 250+ audits. These claims of election fraud are lies intended to make people believe that their votes don’t matter.

I’m here to tell you that your vote does matter. Our voices matter. That day as hundreds came to support Q pin wearing legislators, I stood and pushed back for truth and democracy. I spoke to a reporter on the steps of the Capitol to tell her more.

If you agree, please join me ([link removed]) in the fight to ensure that our elections stay fair and free.

Best,
Donna
