Friend, I was honored to be a guest on MSNBC’s American Voices with a panel of incredible women to talk about voting rights.
Here in Georiga, Republican legislators continue to take a wrecking ball to our freedom to vote.
We need federal action like the Freedom to Vote Act to protect us from these attacks. As I said on MSNBC:
“This fight is real. Disenfranchisement, particularly in communities of color and in places in the Deep South like Georgia, continues to thwart our efforts to have a vibrant and healthy and inclusive democracy.”
As we push for federal action, we’re also working to replace the anti-voter legislators who passed SB 202 with champions for voting rights.
