[link removed] Some candidates change their positions based on polling results or what’s politically popular at the time, but I’m not one of those candidates. I’m a proud, life-long Democrat and my values and beliefs are deeply rooted in what it means to be a Democrat: making sure everyone’s voices are heard, taking care of those who served and are currently serving to protect the freedoms and liberties we cherish, reaching a hand out to help up those who are in need, and most importantly, working hard every day to make America a better place for today’s generations and tomorrow’s. Traveling to every corner of the District, the conversations I’m having and the questions I get asked are about our shared values that continue to be missing from today’s politics. Once I explain the values I was raised on and the values I believe in, why I’ve been a Democrat my entire life, and how I’d represent this District, the troubled expressions on their faces turn to warmth, encouragement, and support for our campaign. I’ve always been true to my values. Isn’t it about time we had a Leeder in Congress that stands up for the shared values of the 21st District? I know it is, and that’s why I’m running.
