Parenting can be such a chore: The sign-ups, the drop-offs, the pick-ups, the food prep, the dishes, the laundry, the changing, the bathing...is this what we really signed up for? In a word, no. Think of it as collateral to all the reading, the playing, the bonding, and loving you get to do now. Fortunately, you don’t have to love or cherish or be patient with the chores. You just need to get through them — efficiently, quickly, and with minimal effort. So get organized, then find more time for the good stuff.
