Friend –

The ACLU-DC Bill of Rights Celebration is just one week away. We can't wait to gather virtually with our community on Monday, November 8 at 7 p.m. ET.

From our very first meeting in 1961, we've been fighting to uphold the promise of the Constitution for every person who lives, visits, or works in Washington, D.C. ACLU-DC's 60 years of civil rights litigation and advocacy has shaped our city and nation. We invite you to imagine what we'll accomplish in another 60 years.

In addition to marking our anniversary, we're also honoring Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, Samantha Davis and Black Swan Academy, and Larry Pearl for their exemplary commitment to civil liberties. You can read about their achievements on our blog. <[link removed]>

This is the last week to register to attend, so be sure to RSVP today. After registering, you'll be invited to make a gift in support of ACLU-DC's work. In honor of our anniversary, gifts will be matched up to $30,000 thanks to two generous donors. If you've already registered, or can't attend but would still like to support our work, you can skip to the donation page here. <[link removed]>
