We’re not here with any tricks or treats ... we just wanted to reach out and tell you how important our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign is to protecting our democracy! 

Want to know what’s spookier than 👻? Since the start of 2021, at least 87 bills have been introduced and 20 have passed that would burden or harm the ballot measure process. 

Why? Because extremist officials and special interests have seen time and time again how working people in America are passing the progressive policies they so badly need — and now those officials are threatened.

This assault on our democracy is highly-organized and well-funded, so we’ve partnered with a number of national and local groups to organize our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign and fight back. We set a goal to raise $3,500 more before tonight’s end-of-month deadline. Can you chip in whatever you can afford right now to help us protect the ballot measure process?

We know extremist legislators and special interests are ready to do whatever it takes to make the ballot measure process more difficult for everyday Americans. That’s why we’re pulling out all the stops to preserve this core part of our democracy.

When we need to, we will litigate. Where we can stop bad laws from being passed, we will run aggressive “no” campaigns to stop these anti-democratic bills. And where the legislature refers suppressive measures to the ballot, we will fight to win those ballot campaigns.
