John, Not even a week ago, the family and friends of Brink’s security guard Peter Paige, as well as Nyack Police Sergeant Edward O’Grady and Officer Waverly Brown, came together to honor their service and sacrifice on the 40th anniversary of their deaths in the line of duty. These brave law enforcement officers were MURDERED in the infamous 1981 robbery of a Brink’s armored vehicle - but now, yet ANOTHER violent, cop-killing criminal behind this horrific crime was just let back onto the streets thanks to our current guard of failed leaders here in New York. This administration is continuing to create HAVOC all across our great state, forcing innocent people to pay the price for their horrible decisions and policies. Releasing ANOTHER infamous, cop-killing murderer onto our streets is just even more proof… The composition of the New York State Board of Parole clearly needs to change. We obviously need new laws to be enacted so that COP-KILLERS and other violent criminals don’t walk away free. And New York desperately needs new leadership to stop this lawless trend before it’s too late! That’s why I’m running for Governor next year - but we’ll never put the Cuomo-Hochul madness behind us unless we do so together.
