Donald Trump recently filed a lawsuit claiming executive privilege so that White House records relating to the insurrection cannot be accessed by the House commission. Trump is trying to outright impede -- or at a minimum slow down -- the investigation because he knows he has something to hide.
If his lawsuit is successful, we may never know the full extent of Trump's involvement in the January 6 attack on our nation's Capitol. We need to fight back and send a message that we won't allow Trump or any of his cronies to get in the way of the truth and that we demand accountability for their attacks on our democracy.
