Team, we know we don’t need to remind you that reproductive rights are under attack, right here in Georgia and across the country.

And we know we don’t have to remind you that we cannot trust Donald Trump’s hand-picked judges on the Supreme Court to protect Roe v. Wade.

But the Senate could take action RIGHT NOW to protect our right to choose. That’s why we’re asking you one more time to add your name to Carolyn’s petition demanding the Senate protect reproductive rights >>>

Friend, I am reaching out to you today about an issue that is deeply important to me: reproductive rights. Will you add your name next to mine to tell the Senate to protect our right to choose? >>>

FIRST, Republicans in Texas passed the most extreme abortion law in our lifetime. This law banned abortion at six weeks, much like Georgia tried to do in 20191. Most people don’t even know they are pregnant at six weeks, and these laws allow no exceptions in the case of rape or incest. Texas also put enforcement in the hands of civilians, offering bounties of $10,000 to those who track down and sue health care workers providing reproductive health care.2

THEN, Republican legislatures across the country followed suit, introducing new anti-abortion bills with the Texas law as a model.

AND THEN, the House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act, a bill I was proud to co-sponsor. This critical legislation would eliminate all medically unnecessary restrictions and bans on abortions — like mandatory waiting periods, biased health care counseling, and forcing people to make two trips to a clinic. In the worst-case scenario, if Roe v. Wade were overturned, this legislation would protect abortion access.

NEXT, the Senate needs to do its part and pass this critical legislation into law.

We can use the power of our grassroots movement to get it done, but we have to work together.

I need 50 supporters in DC to join me and send the Senate a clear message: it’s time to defend reproductive rights once and for all. Sign on now >>> [link removed]
