After the launch of our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign, we’ve made some big waves!

Last week, Kelly spoke with Tanya Rivero at CBS News about how The Fairness Project is fighting to protect the right of voters across the country to have a real say at the ballot box. Our Ballot Measure Rescue Campaign has brought together national and in-state partners like ACLU, Democracy Docket, and Planned Parenthood and will devote $5 million to protecting the ballot measure process.

Direct democracy is an important tool for communities nationwide — and obstructionist politicians should not be able to halt this democratic process simply because they don’t like the results.
