Friends,
Imagine if you ran a store and knew exactly which products would sell best. Rather than competing on the merits, you just copy those products, down to the smallest detail.
Now imagine you place the original on the next aisle, on the highest shelf, out of view. You can’t lose.
That’s what Amazon is doing on a massive scale with unprecedented tools at their disposal. They are abusing their dominance to surveil the competition, clone products, and put a thumb on the scale in their own favor.
Representative Ken Buck and I are working to put a stop to it. We have already advanced legislation, the American Innovation and Choice Online Act, to ban these abusive practices. We also called on Amazon to come clean and provide evidence that they have not misled Congress.
Clearly, it will take the full force of Congressional power to hold Amazon accountable for their monopolistic business practices. If you’re able, I hope you’ll make a contribution to my campaign to support our work to protect small businesses from Amazon’s predatory practices.

Team,
When Jeff Bezos and other Amazon executives were called upon to testify to Congress, they swore up and down that their online market is an equal playing field for sellers.
Turns out, they lied.
Recent reporting shows that they used data to copy products from outside sellers, and then promote their own copied products to buyers over the original sellers. This massive corporation that made $21.3 billion in profit last year is taking advantage of small businesses to pad their coffers even further.
Big Tech companies like Amazon don’t want a level playing field, they don’t want competition. But competition is what makes our economy strong, which makes their lies all the more dangerous.
Will you sign my petition demanding Amazon create a fair playing field for sellers? We can take on Big Tech together. [[link removed]]
