** We Need a People’s Climate Action Plan
------------------------------------------------------------

The CIty of Dallas is currently working on a climate plan behind closed doors. At their poorly advertised public meetings, the city’s contractor (AECOM) has offered piecemeal solutions that largely focus on individual responsibility. We can’t let a private company get away with half a million public dollars for offering a moderate and inadequate climate plan.

We need your voice to help make the Dallas Climate Action Plan more radical and accountable to its residents. DSA NTX has come up with a few suggestions below to help get your socialist juices flowing as you fill out the city’s survey.

Tell Dallas what climate justice looks like. Take the city’s survey here ([link removed]) . Complete the survey by Halloween, October 31st!

Help us reach out to Dallas residents about our ecosocialist climate platform at the West End DART Station at the following canvassing dates and times:
* Sun Oct 27, 3 - 6 PM
* Tues Oct 29, 6 - 8 PM
* Wed Oct 30, 6 - 8 PM
* Thurs Oct 31, 6 - 8 PM

Join DSA North Texas & Our Revolution NTX on Monday, October 28, 6:30PM, 17290 Preston Rd, 3rd floor to engage with the city directly.
