Two huge updates in the January 6 investigation, John.

Yesterday, Donald Trump sued the January 6 select committee and the National Archives to block White House records related to the Capitol insurrection from being released. Trump is doing whatever it takes to cover up his role in the attack on our democracy and stop the committee from uncovering the truth.

And just now, the House select committee investigating January 6 voted to hold Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with their subpoena.

The committee is sending a strong message that they won't let Trump and his allies get away with impeding their investigation and escaping accountability. Now, Congress will be voting on whether to refer the matter to the Justice Department.

Trump and his cronies must cooperate fully with the January 6 investigation in order for us to uncover the truth, and if they refuse, they must face the consequences. That's why we're calling for the prosecution of Bannon and anyone else who ignores a congressional subpoena, but we want to know what you think:

Should Steve Bannon be prosecuted for refusing to comply with the select committee's subpoena?
