Shenise is a native Daytonian, a mother of three children, and was the top vote-getter in a 7-way Primary Election last spring! Her campaign is going full steam ahead to Election Day on November 2nd -- that's just two weeks away!
 

With over 10 years of experience as a Logistics Management Specialist with the Wright-Patterson Airforce Base, Shenise knows how government works.

And as a card-carrying member of the American Federation of Government Employees Union (AFGE), Shenise is in this fight to make it work even better to benefit the needs of everyday, working-class Daytonians.

Serving as one of the co-founders for the organization “Neighborhoods Over Politics”, Shenise is the strong, independent voice that Dayton needs. She’s committed to neighborhood redevelopment and the economic stability of her community with a vision to rebuild the city “block by block.”

As the next Dayton City Commissioner, Shenise will champion progressive politics to eliminate human insecurities in areas like politics, environmental justice, community building, health, food, economic inequities, and more.

We provide direct cash assistance for essential items like phones, cars, laptops, and living stipends -- which often times, these candidates and their campaigns don't have access to. We also serve as a resource for individual mentorship and training to ensure candidates and their staff feel supported and equipped to enter the political space.
