Team,

Since the publication of my op-ed about Facebook’s abuse of power this week, I know the special interests that represent these big tech monopolies — even beyond Facebook — have me in their crosshairs for the coming election season.

I’m not afraid of their lobbyists and the dark money they’ll throw at competitive House races – because I know this team has our back.

If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider making a contribution to our fight so tech giants like Facebook get the message: The American people do not want our democracy to suffer in the name of Silicon Valley profits.

I’m no stranger to calling out these industry giants, but I know that I’ve become a target of big tech as a result. In the face of their massive wealth and information machines, it can certainly feel a bit like I’m David and they are Goliath.

We know how that story ends though, folks. If we’re going to take action on this as a nation, I need you in my corner.

Can you contribute $15 or anything you’re able?

Together, I know we can take on corporate interests and win.

Thank you,

– David Cicilline
