I’m announcing I’m running to be the next Governor of Pennsylvania — and the stakes of this race couldn’t be higher.

The Republicans who are running for Governor in Pennsylvania want to lead us down a dark road. They’re peddling Trump’s Big Lie, undermining our democracy, and threatening a woman’s right to choose. They’re doubling down on their far-right rhetoric to suppress the right to vote, roll back reproductive rights and workers’ rights, and put the Commonwealth’s future in jeopardy.

To put it simply, everything is on the line in this election.

If my Republican opponents had their way, they’d pass a ban on abortion — but I will always defend the right to choose.

They’ll gut workers’ rights to organize and put corporate special interests first — but I’ve fought to defend workers and taken on large corporations when they break the law.

They’ll continue to serve Trump’s Big Lie, and strip away the right to vote — but I fought Trump and his allies in court (and won time and time again, too).

I’m going to give this campaign everything I’ve got, every single day. With so much on the line – reproductive health care, our planet, voting rights – we just cannot afford to lose, John.
