A lot of people assume 2021 is an off-year for elections, John. They're mostly right — we won't be deciding on the next President of the United States or the majority of seats in Congress come November.

But a ton of seats will still be up for grabs next month. From the governorship of New Jersey and of Virginia, to House seats in Ohio, to municipal positions across the country, people will have plenty of opportunities to exercise their right to vote.

We want to make sure that everyone has can cast a ballot, does. Elections in "off-years" might escape people's notice. That's why we run campaigns to encourage voting in special elections — like we did with the California recall election in September.
