Fortunately, Nancy Pelosi and the committee are not backing down. They're hard at work to uncover the truth about January 6, but we need Republicans to comply with the investigation.

January 6, 2021 was one of the darkest days for our nation's democracy. A violent mob, incited by Donald Trump attacked our Capitol as Congress met to certify the results of the 2020 election. Following the insurrection, 147 Republicans in Congress voted to reject the results of a free and fair election.
In the months since, Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress have done everything in their power to rewrite history and escape accountability for the events of January 6.
Despite Republicans' attempts to block the truth, Nancy Pelosi took action and formed a select committee to investigate the attack on our Capitol. This investigation is underway in the House and is a huge step in the right direction to uncovering the truth, holding the responsible parties accountable, and defending our democracy.
But if history taught us anything, we can expect Republicans to do whatever it takes to impede the investigation and hide the truth from the American people. Just earlier this week, it was revealed that Trump told four of his aides to defy the committee's subpoenas.
Trump is trying to block testimony so we can't hold him or his allies accountable. We can't let them get away with it.
