View as Webpage ‌ ‌ ‌ Pray for Our State The Administrative Commission Hearing begins Monday, October 28, 2019. The Question: Whether Planned Parenthood in St. Louis can continue to operate in the State of Missouri WITHOUT a license. No other medical facility in our state could operate without a license as long as Planned Parenthood has after they failed an inspection by our Department of Health. And yet, the courts have put the safety of women aside and given an open door to Planned Parenthood to operate without any oversight. Women and babies deserve better care. Instead, they are being put at risk by a liberal court that supports the abortion agenda at any cost! MO Congressman Co-Leads Letter Signers Demanding Answers About Fetal Tissue Research Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO) and 70 of his Republican colleagues stand for protecting innocent lives in research. Missouri Congressmen/women who signed the letter are: Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer, Congressman Billy Long, Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler and Congresswoman Ann Wagner. The letter, sent to HHS Secretary, Alex Azar, thanks him for changing the department’s policy regarding funding for research that uses human fetal tissue from elective abortions, for canceling a major contract with the University of California San Francisco, and for ending intramural research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) using fetal tissue. The letter specifically asks Secretary Azar for further information on: A list of currently-funded grants using human fetal tissue that includes the end date for each grant. A list of who has been chosen to serve on the NIH’s ethics advisory board. A list of violations of relevant laws, policies, and guidelines by taxpayer-funded researchers over the last 5 years. “I applaud HHS and the Trump administration for ensuring that our taxpayer dollars are spent judiciously and aren’t used for activities that diminish the sanctity of human life. There’s still, however, a missing piece to this puzzle: mid-cycle NIH-funded unethical fetal tissue research. I am pleased to join my colleagues in asking the administration to shed light on these ongoing projects.” – Rep. Hartzler (R-MO), Chair of the House Values Action Team. ______________ Link: Gaetz-Luetkemeyer_Fetal Tissue Letter (PDF) Life Links Academic leftists tried to kill survey finding 96% of biologists admit life begins at fertilization Link - The biological beginning of human life has never been as controversial as the political battle over abortion would suggest.
