Never Again

John,

Today is National Coming Out Day -- a time to celebrate members of the LGBTQ+ community's deeply personal decision to come out and live as their authentic self. But it's also a time to recognize how far we still have to go for equality.

Right now in Congress, members of the Republican party are continuing to push their hateful, anti-LGBTQ+ agenda. Earlier this year, Democrats in the House passed the Equality Act to ban discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. But nearly every Republican (206 to be exact) voted against this bill.

Some of the 'no' votes included Treason Caucus members Rep. Lauren Boebert who made despicable transphobic remarks when arguing why the bill shouldn't pass and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who hung a transphobic sign outside of her office.

It's difficult to make progress for the LGBTQ+ community when we allow homophobic and transphobic members to remain in positions of power. That's why we're committed to ending Republicans' anti-LGBTQ+ agenda and electing leaders who will stand up for equality.

Are you with us? This National Coming Out Day, add your name to stand with the LGBTQ+ community and recommit to defeating these hateful Republicans in Congress.

Thanks,

Never Again PAC
