** Are you registered for the Black Girl Rally?

Calling all Black girls, Black girl champions, girl-centered programs, and female entrepreneurs! It's time to rally for Black girls.

This year's Black Girl Rally is focused on youth entrepreneurship and addressing the disparities, successes, and solutions for Black women-owned businesses. How do we come together to fill gaps, break down barriers, and support our future Black entrepreneurs? There's a place at the table for everyone during this three-part, twelve-hour Black Girl rally!

For Breakfast, we'll whiteboard with girl-centered programs and our education partners to uncover gaps and come together. For lunch, we'll meet the authors of "Finding Her Voice" and take home tools for supporting Black girls. For dinner, we'll bring together women entrepreneurs and budding Black business owners to rally, problem-solve, and build community. We've got a host of special guests and celebrities who will be here in person or tuning in via livestream, door prizes, AND an opportunity for one guest to win a shadow day with Charisse Jones of Sassy Jones ([link removed]) .

** Girls For A Change Fall Open House
------------------------------------------------------------

Fall is officially here, and so are our programs! Learn about our 2021 Fall programs and opportunities for middle school, as well as 4th and 5th-grade girls at our virtual Open House. We have two dates available:
* Monday, October 11 at 6pm
* Wednesday, October 27 at 6pm

** Girls Who Code: Register by Monday (10/11)

Attention future STEMINISTS! How would you like to learn to code a game? Our Fall Girls Who Code participants will explore the theme, "Play for Impact," to code a project using Scratch in partnership with Facebook's Engineer for the Week program (EFTW). EFTW introduces learners to the power of STEM and provides a pathway to build engineering solutions that create real impact in our communities. The girls will explore the world of engineering, discover game design principles and learn block-based programming to design their own Game with Purpose to address a topic that matters to them, and create a positive change in the world.

Sessions are in person at the Girls For A Change Center and are for Middle School girls.
Every Tuesday at 6:00-7:30pm
October 19 - December 7

** How to support the Black Girl Rally
------------------------------------------------------------
We have several opportunities for community members and companies to support this year's Black Girl Rally. Currently, we are looking for 25 female entrepreneurs to join our evening session and share their tips. More about supporting our rally as a female entrepreneur here ([link removed]) . We also have opportunities for table sponsors, title sponsor or presenting sponsor, grab bag items, volunteering, and helping with Wishlist items ([link removed]) .
