Political analysts have confirmed that Republicans are well-positioned to take back control from us.

CQ Roll Call's Nathan Gonzales said, "Democrats have their most narrowed majority in more than a generation, and Republicans have redistricting and history on their side in the midterm elections."

The GOP only needs to win FIVE seats to steal the majority. As for the Senate: of the 5 at-risk Democrats up for re-election, Republicans only need ONE to seize power from us.

Not only are Republicans hoping to secure safety for incumbents in the several GOP-stronghold seats of rural America, but they are also eyeing pickup opportunities in states that Democrats only managed to win recently by a thin margin — also primarily in rural America.

That means that if Democrats are going to hold our majorities, we need to be prepared to play both offense and defense — with rural America as a top priority.

And let's be honest. Even with a Democratic president and majority in both the House and Senate, we're still grappling with the antics of right-wing clowns like Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, Kevin McCarthy, and Marjorie Taylor Greene. That's why we're calling them the GQP.

There is way too much at stake in the upcoming midterm elections, and we simply can't afford to let the GQP gain any more power in Washington. That's why we need Democrats like you to join the fight NOW in resisting the far-right agenda.
