Turkey's autocratic President Erdogan are ordering the EU
to “kneel” or watch as their countries “open the gates” for millions
of illegal migrants.
“Hey European Union. Pull yourself together,” warned the
Turkish strongman, who used a failed coup against him in 2016 as an
opportunity to hurl thousands of his political opponents and
detractors into prison, over moves by the EU to condemn his recent
incursion into Kurdish-controlled territory in northern Syria. How
will the fake news media/fake education systems, distort this open
message of Jihad and conquering? We need to get out of the EU and
fast!

Sexual assault and other sexual crimes on Britain’s
railways have nearly doubled over the past five years.
Last year, staff and passengers reported 2,628 cases of sex
crimes, up from 1,402 reported cases five years ago, reports The
Mirror. Sex assaults are not the only crimes rising on the UK’s
railway systems. A report from The Scotsman showed that British
Transport Police responded to 1,438 attacks on train staff in Scotland
in the past five years, with Mick Cash from the railway union the RMT
warning of a “culture of violence and abuse” on the country’s rail
systems. Just take a look at the police's attitude to the extinction
hold up of the tube, they stuck up for the law breakers not the people
being inconvenienced. Then they wonder why all sorts of crime
rises.

Diane Abbott has slammed The Government and called for a
“safe and legal routes” for refugees to enter the UK after 39 people
were found dead in a lorry in Essex.
She called for an assurance that “vital” co-operation on
preventing people trafficking with the EU27 will not become
“imperiled” when the UK leaves the EU. She said there should be “safe
and legal routes” for “genuine” refugees to get to the UK. The
unidentified victims, including a teenager, were found dead inside the
container – thought by experts to be a refrigerated unit – at the
Waterglade Industrial Park in Grays, Essex, early on Wednesday. The
lorry is from Bulgaria and entered the UK at Holyhead in North Wales,
one of the main ports for ferries from Ireland.

A play about Hull's most famous WWI soldier is to be staged
next month as part of fundraising efforts to raise a statue in his
honour in his hometown.
On May 3 he twice led his company against an enemy trench under
terrific rifle and machine-gun fire but was repulsed. Armed only with
a pistol and a Mills hand grenade, he finally made a dash at the
machine-gun, hoping to spare the many men in his company who were
pinned down by the deadly fire. His platoon watched as he fell while
throwing the grenade towards the machine-gun post. He was awarded the
Victoria Cross posthumously - his body was never found. The Pony
Express Theatre Company production starring Christopher Corbett as
Jack is being staged at Park Street Performing Arts Centre from
November 8 to 10.
Yours sincerely
