Earlier this morning, Ed proudly endorsed Michelle Wu for Mayor of Boston.

As a candidate and as a city councilor, Michelle has championed the Green New Deal and made transformational action on climate change central to her campaign. She has a bold vision for the future of Boston, and Ed’s counting on our people-powered, grassroots movement to step up and help her win this race.

That means our job between now and November 2 is to talk to as many voters as we can about why Michelle is the best choice for Boston and our planet, and help get out the vote in this historic election.

So tomorrow, Ed, Michelle, the Markeyverse, and the Wuniverse are coming together to do exactly that and call voters all across the city. Can you join us? Here are all the details:

Thursday, October 7
5:00 p.m. ET - 7:00 p.m. ET

Electing Michelle Wu is the single biggest opportunity our movement has to see a Green New Deal implemented at a local level, and show the country and the world what is possible when we stand together and commit to fight for bold climate action at all levels of government.

With Michelle in office, Boston has an incredible opportunity to put our movement’s progressive agenda to work and lead the nation in the fight for racial, economic, and environmental justice.

Talking to voters directly is one of the most effective and impactful tools we have to make that happen. But Michelle and Ed can’t talk to every voter alone, so please:

Use this link to RSVP and say you’ll join us this Thursday at 5 p.m. ET and help get out the vote for Michelle Wu. [[link removed]]

Thank you in advance for signing up, and for all you do for our movement.

In solidarity,

Team Markey
