The Thomson Reuters Foundation and the Kurt Schork Memorial Fund invite you to join us for an online event on October 20th as we recognise the remarkable work and bravery of the winners of the
Kurt Schork Awards in International Journalism [[link removed]].
Now in their 20th year, the Awards honour American freelance journalist
Kurt Schork [[link removed]] - who was killed in 2000 while on assignment for Reuters in Sierra Leone - and recognise freelance journalists, local reporters and news fixers for their powerful reporting on conflict, corruption and
human rights transgressions.
The event will feature a conversation with the 2020 [[link removed]] and 2021 winners of the Awards. The 2021 winners will be announced on October 13th on the Thomson Reuters Foundation's social media channels.
