Our training retreat weekend has officially begun, John! Before the campaign staffers group arrives here in Kansas City to be trained on campaign finance, call-time, digital fundraising, and more... we simply couldn't resist sending you a selfie of us rocking our BTE shirts because we're so amped up!

Both of us have worked in Democratic politics long enough to see how socioeconomic barriers prevent both candidates and staffers from succeeding in this space. And as you can see, we're just gleaming with pride from all the progress our scrappy little movement has made in the last 7 months.

We're not some well-funded, well-connected super-PAC. The two of us are just operating this thing on passion, determination, and grassroots support. Without you, we're just two progressive women with a pipe dream.

We provide direct cash assistance for essential items like phones, cars, laptops, and living stipends -- which often times, these candidates and their campaigns don't have access to. We also serve as a resource for individual mentorship and training to ensure candidates and their staff feel supported and equipped to enter the political space.
