Did you see the statement Donald Trump made earlier this month, John?

Trump is continuing to defend the white supremacist mob that stormed the Capitol and attacked our democracy by saying the violent insurrectionists are being persecuted unfairly.

Now take a look at a Capitol officers account of January 6 and tell us if you think their persecution is "unfair":

"I was at risk of being stripped of and killed with my own firearm as I heard chants of 'kill him with his own gun' [...] I can still hear those words in my head today." -- Officer Michael Fanone

The people that deserve justice for January 6 are the Capitol officers who faced abuse and put their lives on the line to defend our Capitol and democracy.
