Dear Friends and Supporters, We’re in the final days before our fundraising deadline to Save America and need your help. As I write to you, we’re literally in the middle of the worst border security and immigration crisis in the history of our country. Tens of thousands of illegal immigrants poured into our country just last week alone. We are experiencing a massive spike in violent crime nationally due in large part to Biden’s reckless, dangerous and illegal open border policy. Just last week two un-vetted Afghani refugees sexually assaulted a female soldier at one of our own military bases. Record amounts of fentanyl are being dumped into our country every day by drug traffickers killing thousands of Americans. And while the radical socialist Democrats are applauding and actively facilitating this invasion, where is our Republican leadership? In 2016 President Trump won election on securing our borders once and for all. Republicans had both houses of Congress and the White House for two years and did NOTHING to address border and immigration issues. The little bit of wall that did get built during the Trump administration was done by executive order and funded by borrowing budget from the military. Congressional Republicans’ inaction, and lack of political will and courage to stand up to the radical left then is a direct contributor to the crisis we are in today. Since my opponent has been in office in 1997 (Bill Clinton’s first term) Republicans held majorities in the House nine times - and they did nothing to address border security or immigration reform. I will. This issue is a huge reason Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn is my Campaign Chair and I’m supported by other area law enforcement leaders like Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin. These Sheriffs are dealing with the consequences of open borders and struggling to manage the resulting drug trafficking, sex trafficking and violence. They trust that I will lead on this issue in Congress and demand real border security and enforcement including getting them the tools they need to fight the traffickers and cartels and enforce our immigration laws. I will also fight for real immigration reform which starts with ending the incentives like free education and healthcare to motivate people to migrate here illegally in the first place - things that are expensive for our own citizens. Our current Congresswoman hasn’t lead on any of these issues. I will. We simply can’t continue to elect the same career politicians year after year, decade after decade and expect different results.
