Team,
Political news outlet Axios has published a new report showing Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin inching closer to Terry McAuliffe in the fight to lead Virginia for the next four years.
Youngkin -- a private equity executive turned Trump sycophant -- has injected millions of dollars of his own money to try to buy the election so the GOP can regain power in our Commonwealth and roll back the incredible progress we’ve made under Democratic leadership.
And that’s not all -- last week, the Cook Political Report shifted its categorization of the race from “lean Democrat” to “toss-up” -- with polls showing the race tied or within the margin of error.
Youngkin could win this thing.
So right now, with just two days until the major end-of-September filing deadline, Terry needs our help. Can you chip in $20 or more to help make sure his team has the resources they need to win this November? [[link removed]]

Your donation will be split evenly between Terry McAuliffe and Tim Kaine. It’s hard to overstate just how important it is that Youngkin doesn’t win this election. He’d send our Commonwealth down a path we cannot afford to go down -- putting politics over people, and reversing so many of the progressive policies Virginia has been able to enact.
Youngkin has been endorsed by Donald Trump four times. He has said that Trump “represents why he’s running for governor.” And his campaign has been predicated on Trump’s 2020 election conspiracy theory -- and Youngkin’s plan to ban abortion in Virginia.
Terry knows we don’t have time for a “Forever Trumper” like Glenn Youngkin to distract us from doing the important work we need to do in Virginia.
As we enter the final month of this campaign, please join this team in supporting Terry for governor by pitching in whatever you can. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Team Kaine
