We have all heard that saying before. It applies to almost all big decisions or agreements in life. As you read this, Speaker Pelosi is doing what most people, including myself, view as impossible: managing the egos and expectations of the most powerful people in our country. That is the reality.

We can beat around the bush all we want, but our Speaker is putting it all on the table, and mark my words, she will get it done. I tweet this all the time, In Nancy We Trust.

Look, I don't always agree with the Speaker on everything, but I learned that you have to keep your eye on the big picture.

The Republicans and the media are having a field day attacking the President, the Speaker, and the Democrats. Why is that? Well, folks, because they are actually working! Of course, there are disagreements. That is how democracy works, and that is how bills are supposed to get written and then passed.

But this is what I need you to do today. I need you to call your elected Congressional Representatives and ask them how much money in this infrastructure bill will be coming to your district? That is the only thing they should be fighting for right now: A new school, a repaired bridge, and in the case of you folks living in TX, a modernized electric grid.

This is all that matters, so I need you all to block all the nonsense you see on tv and social media, and let's do what we do best, get to work and advocate for bettering the lives of all Americans.
