Check out the latest from NYGOP Volume 32 | September 26th, 2021 This Week at the NYGOP Follow Us On Social Media! Dear John, This week I was proud to be unanimously re-elected as Chairman of our great New York Republican Party. When I took the helm of the NYGOP two years ago, I vowed to usher in a new, fighting spirit that would revitalize our Party. We set our sights squarely on taking out corrupt Andrew Cuomo and our ultimate mission of taking back the governor’s office. Two years later, we are celebrating one goal down and we are well on our way to our next when we will elect a Republican governor to save our state. For the first time in more than 25 years, New York Republicans are in a position to capitalize on the red wave that is going to sweep across our nation in 2022. Our mission to take back the U.S. House took a huge step forward this week with the announcement that Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro will run for Congress. The road to winning back the House Majority runs right through the Hudson Valley and Marc’s candidacy instantly makes this race one of the top targets in the country. Marc is a fighter who helped expose Andrew Cuomo and has been a champion for taxpayers as county executive. Antonio Delgado has proven himself to be nothing more than a Pelosi puppet who has been silent on everything from Cuomo’s corruption to Biden’s incompetence and that is why voters are going to replace him next November. Washington Democrats continue to be an international embarrassment this week with their ongoing nightmare on the southern border and Congress’ unconscionable vote this week to strip funding for Israel’s Iron Dome, which is responsible for protecting the lives of millions of innocent civilians. The Biden/Harris-Schumer-Pelosi radical left agenda is posing a grave threat to our national security. In New York, Cuomo crony and nursing home co-conspirator Howard Zucker announced his resignation as Health Commissioner this week, but the question many New Yorkers are left with is why was he allowed to go out on his own terms and not fired by Governor Hochul on day one? Hochul continues to try and bury Cuomo’s nursing home cover-up, denying his victims justice and a full accounting of the truth. Lastly, none of our success and great strides in the previous two years would have been possible without all of our steadfast supporters, like yourself. I am eternally grateful for all of your support of our party and its great candidates. I am more energized than ever to save our country and our state from radical left one-Party rule. I know that with hard work and unity, we will go forward to make history. Kelly Eskew Candidate- Orange County Clerk Kelly started her career in local government in 1994 at the Town of Crawford - Pine Bush, NY. Website Facebook Donate NYGOP Must See News: Nick Langworthy re-elected New York GOP chairman Spectrum News More than a decade ago, Nick Langworthy was something of a renegade within Republican politics statewide. At the time, he was the Erie County chairman for the party, backing a little-known businessman named Carl Paladino for governor. But Langworthy for the last two years has taken the helm of the statewide party, replacing longtime chairman Ed Cox with a vow of reinvigorating a party that has not won a statewide election since 2002, and is out of power in Albany. But Republicans from around the state are betting on him. Langworthy on Monday was unanimously re-elected to another term as the party's leader in New York, a year before what could be a wide-open campaign for governor, potentially even attorney general. Watch Full Here GOP forges its 2022 platform as Hochul shapes her candidacy Times Union "Different face, policies are the same," New York GOP Chair Nick Langworthy said Monday about Hochul. "Democrats own every problem in the state." Langworthy was voted to a new term as chair of the state's Republican Party during the GOP's required two-year reorganization meeting, which was held Monday at the Marriot Albany on Wolf Road. Both Langowrthy and the party's "presumptive" pick for governor, U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin of Long Island, rattled off reasons why Hochul brings similar issues to Cuomo and how she has shown herself as more left-leaning than her predecessor in office. They pointed to who she has retained in her administration, including state health Commissioner Howard Zucker, and her pick for lieutenant governor, progressive state Sen. Brian A. Benjamin, a Harlem Democrat who stood up for the "defund the police" movement by calling for a redistribution of resources in local police departments. Chairman Langworthy was first elected to lead the party in July of 2019. State law requires a reorganization of state committee members every two years for the purpose of conducting Party business, including the election of a state chairman. The Party also announced the unanimous election of businessman and former NYC Comptroller candidate John Burnett as Executive Vice-Chair, a newly created position. “When I took the helm of the NYGOP two years ago, I made a promise that we were going to revitalize this Party and usher in a new fighting spirit,” said Chairman Nick Langworthy. “We set our sights squarely on taking out corrupt Andrew Cuomo and our ultimate mission of taking back the governor’s office. Andrew Cuomo sometime in the coming weeks, though no one appears to know for sure exactly when. “It's really hard to pinpoint a day,” Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie of the Bronx told reporters in Buffalo Tuesday. “I just know that they're getting towards the end." The release of a final report would mark the end of a six-month impeachment investigation that began after multiple women accused the former governor of sexual misconduct, eventually resulting in the governor’s resignation. But the report might be disappointing to those hoping for new information. City & State reached out to all 21 members of the Judiciary Committee and heard back from six of them or their spokespeople. The consensus among those members was that the report was coming though they were in the dark when Assembly leaders would want to release it – or what it would look like. Read Full Here Fire Antony Blinken Washington Times Joe Biden’s Afghanistan disaster represents a horrifying low point in the history of American foreign policy. With a total disregard for the safety of American citizens — and the decades of sacrifice and hard work by our service members in Afghanistan — Mr. Biden upended an entire nation, kowtowing to the Taliban, resulting in the deaths of thirteen American heroes. Shockingly, he pulled U.S. troops out of Afghanistan before ensuring the safety of Americans trapped behind Taliban-controlled enemy lines. The blame for this crisis lays squarely on Mr. Biden’s shoulders, but he was not alone in his betrayal of the American people and our nation’s interest. His Secretary of State Antony Blinken was with him every step of the way, lying to America about the withdrawal and consistently revealing the depths of his incompetent disregard for our troops and the safety of Americans. Mr. Blinken should resign immediately. Read Full Here Ready to take back our state? Contribute today!
