Yesterday night, I was on Bill Maher's show to talk about the pressing issues going on today. From issues like President Biden's foreign policy successes to Trump's plan to overturn the election, we covered many topics.

The GOP is trying to blame Democrats and President Biden for problems that, frankly, no party is responsible for. But Democrats are trying to provide real solutions while the GOP is grandstanding and creating more issues for our country.

We've seen this time and time again, but Republicans are now trying to politicize the debt ceiling because they want to score a few more political points before the midterm elections. But we're smart enough to see through their lies and tricks.

We are at a crossroads right now in this country. We can follow the President and his common-sense solutions, or we can go back to the hateful politics of the Trump era.

I know what kind of country I want to see. I want our country to be one that values immigrants, supports our allies abroad, and takes care of our people at home by investing in climate change solutions, infrastructure, and Medicaid expansion.
