Since winning majorities in the Virginia General Assembly in 2019, Democrats have made enormous progress on issues ranging from gun violence prevention and expanding Medicaid, to protecting members of the LGBTQ+ community and others from discrimination and taking action to tackle the threats of climate change.
But according to a new analysis of campaign finance reports, control of the Virginia House of Delegates has moved from ‘tilts Democratic’ to ‘toss-up.’
If the GOP takes over our blue majority this November, all of those achievements could be washed away. On every important issue, Republicans have promised to reverse the important work Democrats are doing to make Virginia safer, healthier, and more prosperous.
We need to fight back. And with millions of dollars pouring in from Republican mega donors and gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin’s personal coffers, we need your help.
