Today calls for celebration. It’s officially been 200 days since we launched our campaign to take back NC-11 and lead with compassion and unity.

Since then, we’ve received an outpouring of support from all over NC-11. From union members and teachers to folks like you, friend, who believe in Jasmine and our campaign’s vision.

While we’re proud of what we’ve built together so far, there is still so much work to get done . If we want to defeat Republican Madison Cawthorn, it’s going to take all of us working together to take back NC-11.

Here’s a recap of all that we’ve achieved in the past 200 days, and what we’re continuing to do until we win this race:

- We’ve knocked on doors in six of NC-11’s seventeen counties, and we’re just getting started #OrganizingEverywhere. From virtual phone banks to football tailgates, we’re committed to showing up to meet people where they are, do a lot of listening, and build connections and community.

- Over 21,000 grassroots donors have chipped in to our campaign since we launched. These numbers are proof of the people-powered movement we’re building, and we couldn’t be prouder. And that support has meant we could build the grassroots infrastructure we need to win, from day one.

- Jasmine has earned the support of organizations like the SMART Union, Equality Pac, Vote Mama, LPAC and When Dems Turn Out, as well as elected and community leaders across Western North Carolina.

- From parking lots to front porches, we’re out there connecting with people in their hometowns and also being real, talking about our values -- love, hope, and empathy -- and what we stand for -- like universal pre-k, voting rights, rural broadband, jobs that pay a dignified wage, and the right to choose.

- We’ve helped our community by providing updates on how to stay safe during the pandemic and supporting fundraising efforts for WNC residents who were affected by last month’s intense floods.

- We were the first campaign to call for Cawthorn to be removed from office due to his dangerous and anti-democratic actions on and after January 6th.

And while we’ve come a long way from where we started 200 days ago, there are many miles to go in this journey.
