John  --

Earlier this week we asked you to reach out to your Congressional Representatives to urge them to vote YES on including $5 billion in funding for gun violence prevention.

And John  -- WE DID IT.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Judiciary Committee just included our $5 billion in the Build Back Better Act!

But we’re not done yet. In order for this funding to become a reality, we still need a full House and Senate vote of support.

Will you take 2-minutes to call your legislators before the weekend?

Thanks for all that you do,

Greg

John,

Coming off one of the deadliest summer’s in U.S. history, it’s never been more important that Congress pass this historic funding to end gun violence.

President Biden has already spoken out in favor of this funding -- and now the only thing standing between helping create safer communities and another deadly season is moving this bill through Congress.

Will you join us and call your legislators today?

This life-saving funding will help:

  • Address the crisis of gun violence in our country;
  • Establish resources for community violence intervention;
  • Fund healing and support programs for survivors, families and those suffering most from gun violence; and
  • Most importantly, save lives.

But none of this will be possible if this funding doesn’t make it through Congress.

So, please, will you take 2-minutes to call your legislator now?

Thanks for your help.
