Nikkita Oliver Canvasses Saturday and Sunday (plus texting Tuesday!)

The election is heating up. Nikkita Oliver is running on policies drafted with and for community: an Artist and Freelancer's Bill of Rights, union organizing and workplace protections, Social and Cooperative Housing to stop the sweeps, a Green New Deal for Seattle, and bringing people into City Council to build power together to end racial inequity ?that persist today. Big business hired out-of-state firms to conduct dirty polls and The Stranger noticed. That won't stop Nikkita Oliver and the movements supporting them. Big business has hella money. Together, we got hella People. Will you commit to either:
- Canvass Saturday at 11 AM at ?Bitter Lake Playfield or
- Canvass Sunday at 11 AM at Kirke Park -or-

NTK's First Canvass
The City Attorney's Office doesn't usually canvass. This is no ordinary election. We endorsed the most experienced candidate running, Nicole Thomas Kennedy, and she's running as an abolitionist who wants to prioritize solving root causes instead of making the People suffer. Things like shifting lawyers to the civil side to help tenants and workers win material demands against landlords and bosses. We can dismantle racist and violent systems of coercion and offer actual alternatives to what are largely crimes of poverty: a missed fare or a busted tail-light. The other candidate is a Republican Trump supporter promising more of the same violence that displaces people without solving anybody's needs. Vote experience, vote human dignity, vote abolitionism -- vote Nicole Thomas Kennedy for Seattle City Attorney. The first NTK canvass is Saturday at 11 AM.
