We're already off to a frightening start.

Ohio Republicans have shown their hand with what they've been scheming for the new legislative district maps. And we'll be honest: it's nowhere close to a quality first draft.

If approved, these new maps put the overwhelming majority of the districts squarely in Republican hands, with only 16% of the House districts expected to be competitive. This is not what equal and fair representation looks like, and these maps are a slap in the face of our democracy.

We need to send Chelsea to the Secretary of State's office because Ohioans desperately need someone on their side fighting for fair districts. And the only way we can protect our democracy and flip this statewide seat blue is by hitting every goal and deadline that comes our way.

Tomorrow marks the midway point of September, and we need 32 more donations by midnight tomorrow in order to stay on pace with our goals. We cannot slow down now when these new district maps are threatening to strip Ohioans of a voice in our democracy. Will you chip in $5, $10, $25, or whatever you can do today to help us reach our 32 donation goal?

Let's do this,
