Lead with Lillian, our annual fundraising reception and celebration of progressive women, is just around the corner. And it couldn't come at a more critical time for women's rights and reproductive justice.

 

As you have surely heard, Texas recently implemented a near total ban on abortion. What's more, the Texas law allows private citizens to sue anyone who performs an abortion or helps a person seeking one (i.e., doctors, clinic staff, abortion funders, even Uber and Lyft drivers.) 

 

Now more than ever, we need to elect progressive, pro-choice women to state office. We must ensure that what happened in Texas never happens here.

Lillian's List recruits, trains, and funds women running for office in North Carolina who champion gender equality. Your contribution for Lead with Lillian may make the difference in ensuring a pro-choice candidate is elected to office.
