Once again, anti-choice extremists around the country are making headlines by forcing through unconstitutional and outright cruel attacks on reproductive rights.

Texas just passed a law that not only bans abortion access before most people know they're pregnant, but sets up a brutal system of lawsuits and bounty hunting to turn Americans against one another.

And the architects of this awful law are bragging that they wrote it to be harder to challenge in court. That's significant because it highlights a fundamental problem: reproductive rights in this country are only as secure as the Supreme Court wants to make them. And right now, we've got the most extreme right-wing court in our history.

It's up to Congress to pass a bold, unambiguous law that protects choice once and for all. Add your name to tell Congress, "Protect reproductive rights – now!"

Inspired by the Texas law, South Dakota governor Kristi Noem issued an executive order dramatically restricting access to abortion medication statewide. With the stroke of a pen, she prevented thousands of South Dakotans from getting essential care.

The right to choose if or when to have children shouldn't be subject to the whims of regressive, anti-democratic judges, governors, or legislators. But until we enshrine that right in a clear, definitive law, the radical anti-choice movement will continue to pressure every right-wing public official and to exploit every loophole to attack that right.

Let's put a stop to it. Now. Sign the petition to demand Congress pass a law protecting reproductive rights!
