We have an exciting announcement for you all today: Pay Your Interns is now officially merged as a subsidiary PAC to Barrier to Entry!

Many of you already know that these two are sister PACs, founded by the same trifecta of young progressive women seeking to increase equitability and inclusivity in the professional world and in Democratic politics.

While Pay Your Interns will remain a critical individual branch of Barrier to Entry that specifically focuses on eliminating unpaid internships and unethical labor practices, we feel that this unification will further strengthen the overall goal of increasing transparency and accountability when it comes to fair jobs and equal opportunities in the progressive political space.

Barrier to Entry’s mission has always been to dismantle the socioeconomic barriers that keep working-class folks from getting ahead in professional and political sectors. And now, with Pay Your Interns officially joining us, we hope to ensure that there is both dignity and inclusion in all labor -- including interns, campaign staff, political candidates, and beyond.

Together, we are stronger. And united, we can build both a government and a business environment that truly reflect ALL people. But we can’t do any of it without you fighting alongside us.
