John,
Twenty years ago today, our nation experienced an unthinkable tragedy. We watched in horror as a terrorist attack on American soil claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people.
In the midst of the immense pain that we experienced, we also witnessed the bravery and resilience of the American people. From the heroic first responders who put their own lives on the line to save as many people as possible to the communities that came together to provide support, we saw the very best of the American people that day.
September 11, 2001 was a day that forever changed countless lives and our country as a whole. As we reflect two decades later, our thoughts go out to the survivors and families of the victims who are still dealing with the physical and mental repercussions of this tragic event.
We must also take time to remember the soldiers who volunteered to protect our nation in the aftermath of 9/11, many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe.
Today, we'll be taking a moment to honor the lives lost as a result of 9/11 and keep in our hearts their loved ones and survivors. We hope you'll do the same.
Thank you,
David and Ian
