One of the most important elections of 2021 is about to happen right here in California.

And here’s everything you need to know.

FIRST: Republicans, riding their huge losses in the 2020 elections, banned together to recall our governor, Gavin Newsom.

THEN: Kevin McCarthy and his team started mobilizing on the ground -- they’re knocking doors to garner support for him and his Republican agenda.

NOW: We need $2,500 before Tuesday’s election to fund our mobilization efforts, register scores of voters, and make sure Democrats come out in droves to end the Republican takeover of California.

Governor Gavin Newsom is a champion of voting rights, a staunch supporter of marriage equality, a believer of science and correcting the effects of climate change, and so much more.

Yet Republicans like Kevin McCarthy are doing everything they can to kick him out of office for good.

We can’t let that happen.

That’s why we’re emailing you right now. We need to do everything in our power to get as many Californians to the polls to vote NO to the recall, but we can’t do it without you.
