I just finished a call with Manny Diaz, the Chairman of the Florida Democratic Party, and his team has a clear answer to a question the Retire Rubio team gets all the time: “what’s different this time?” Everything.

The Demographics are moving in Florida’s favor. We are rapidly diversifying and our population is becoming younger and better educated, all good signs for Democratic chances in future elections.

But in order to harness these trends, we need to build infrastructure to identify, register, and turn out these new voters to ensure victory. Today, we’re fundraising with the Florida Democratic Party to make these projections a reality. Chip in $20.22 right now.

Victory in Florida is decided by razor-thin margins. Ron DeSantis won by 32,000 votes in 2018, Rick Scott won his senate seat by 10,000 votes, both less than 0.5%.
